About MaddShea Art
MaddShea Art was created by Maddison, a self taught New England artist living in Eastern Massachusetts. She likes to believe that MaddShea Art began as a way to reach those searching for something different and one of a kind to add to their walls. In reality, she is beginning to run out of storage in the basement and is hoping you would please take some so she can paint more.
When not creating art Maddison divides her time between working for a non-profit theater company, spending time with her cat, and looking for something to eat. She especially loves reading outdoors on a beautiful day, while listening to birds. Maddison is always looking for something new to watch, and is a fan of rewatching some of her old favorites.
About the Art
Maddison uses a variety of different techniques with acrylic paints on canvas. She begins each piece by choosing colors that speak to her in the moment. While many artists draw inspiration from an array of places, Maddison does not. With no end goal from the start, the end result is always a surprise created with little intention. Each piece is adventurous, intriguing, and has a whole new world waiting within to be interpreted by the viewer.
